This section is only relevant for DC04 and RTTC software. With DC06 software you can access data files directly from Gaudi, as on Linux.
With DC04 and RTTC software, direct access to castor
using rfio does not work on Windows due to a bug in the ROOT rfio
client, so you will need to
copy any data you need to the local disk of your machine.
NOTE For Terminal Server users : Before copying any data
yourself, check the local directory C:\Users\LHCbData
to see if your data file has already been copied over.
To copy a file from castor, by far the most convenient method is to use the rfcp command as provided by the shift software package. If you have this installed, the command is
