Dear LHCbers,
As those of you who are in the controls or test-beam business may know, the LHC collaborations are using National Instruments' BRIDGEVIEW as an intermediate solution for monitoring and control until the Joint Common Project comes up with a common controls system. There is a significant discount connected to the number of licences purchased. IT/CO is willing to purchase a block of licenses at a discount and then recuperate the cost from the experiments as they use the product. Since the price goes down as the number of licenses goes up, it is essential that each experiment gives IT/CO an estimate of how many licenses it may need. So the request to you is to send us information about your needs, stating date and duration of your requirements as well as possible. Please also describe the usage, so we can eliminate double replies for the same application. Thanks in advance
