Subject: Questionnaire on CASE Tools

Hi,
I prepared a questionnaire for ATLAS people to complete:
...
The questionnaire addresses CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering)
tools such as ObjectTeam, Object Domain, Rose, StP or Together.
Functionality of these tools includes the representation of a model
using the notation of some method (most now support UML) and at least a facility
to generate code and reports from the model.
There has been quite a lot of criticism of our current choice, StP - so
please provide us with the information we need to make a good choice for
the next few years.
Please see:
http://hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~fisher/work/homeless/caseq.html
for more explanation and for the questionnaire itself. It should not
take long to complete - please do it today before you forget.
...
I have only received replies from some 15 people which is not really
enough to learn very much from. I would appreciate it if you would
advertise the questionnaire within your collaboration and invite people to
complete it. In return I will circulate a report with any findings. I
hope it will be of use to the community to know what people actually
expect from a CASE tool.
Please ask people to reply complete the questionnaire by the end of this
month (April).
Regards
Steve Fisher
