I am pleased to announce that Brunel version v1r2 has been released. This version is linked with release 5 of Gaudi and with SICBDST v234r2. It is therefore possible to verify pileup, and the new RICH code. I have produced datasets of 100 B->pi+pi- events, with (dst2) and without (dst1) pileup, both with Brunel and with SICBDST (see details at: http://lhcb.cern.ch/computing/Reconstruction/html/v1TestPlan.htm ) I would ask all subdetector reconstruction contacts (and in particular RICH and ECAL) to look at these files and give me feedback. I remind you that, as agreed at the software week, the next step is to do a full scale production (a duplicate of the forthcoming MUON TDR production) in Brunel, and make Brunel v1r3 the official LHCb reconstruction program at the end of September if the tests are successful. -- Marco Cattaneo | mailto:marco.cattaneo@cern.ch CERN, EP-ALC Group | http://cern.ch/Marco.Cattaneo CH-1211 Geneve 23 | Tel: +41 22 767 4046 Fax: +41 22 767 9425
